1896-1998
Annie was born Feb 7th 1896. A daughter of D.O. and Ellen Lamb. She was a student at the nearby Reche schoolhouse 1902-1910 She was her class valedictorian. Annie married Eric Hindorff Oct 22, 1924.[1] She was mother to Margaret, Frances, and Laura and stepmother to Velma, Jerald, and Richard. Annie learned to drive about 1915 in a Model T Ford. She continued to drive until she was 80. All of Denver Lamb’s children had musical talents. Annie loved square dancing and played piano to her husband’s fiddle playing. She wrote poetry and tended bees in their apiary. Annie died Aug 9th 1998 at age 102. She is buried next to her husband Eric in Oddfellows cemetery.
